Blankets for the Homeless

When temperatures drop in North India, sleeping on a footpath without a blanket is life-threatening. Every winter, dozens of homeless individuals in our cities die from cold exposure — people who have nowhere to go and nothing to keep them warm.

Najmafoundation runs a Winter Warmth Drive from November to February. Our volunteers go out every night, identifying the most vulnerable individuals — the sick, the elderly, children — and distributing thick blankets, woollen sweaters, and hot meals.
