Fund water purification units in drought-prone villages, ensuring every family has safe drinking water.
Over 160 million Indians still drink contaminated water. In drought-prone talukas of Maharashtra and Karnataka, families walk 3โ5 km daily just to collect brackish, often unsafe, water from shared wells or seasonal streams. Waterborne diseases โ cholera, typhoid, diarrhoea โ are leading causes of child mortality in these areas.
Najmafoundation installs solar-powered RO water purification units in villages with no safe water access. Each unit serves 200โ300 families, providing 5,000 litres of clean water every day for at least 10 years with minimal maintenance.
Your donation of โน600 purifies 1,000 litres of water โ enough to provide safe drinking water to 5 families for an entire month.
