Every monsoon season, floods displace millions of Indians. Families lose everything — their homes, their savings, their livestock, their documents — overnight. The weeks immediately after a flood are the most critical: without immediate food, clean water, and shelter, lives are at risk.

Najmafoundation maintains a rapid-response flood relief team. Within 48 hours of a disaster, we deploy volunteers with emergency kits: 10 kg ration bags, water purification tablets, basic medicines, tarpaulin sheets, and dry clothing. We also help families navigate government relief processes and rebuild their documents.

For ₹1,500 you can provide an emergency relief kit for one family for two weeks — enough to survive the critical immediate period after a flood.
